The Global Catholic Climate Movement presents a course about the Laudato Si’ encyclical that produced by Sustainable Development Solutions Network and Religions for Peace, in partnership with the Pontifical Council of Justice and Peace and the Pontifical Academy of Sciences. The encyclical offers an vision on integral ecology, both human end natural, that has important implications for many fields of human activity, medical practice included.

Cardinal Turkson is a Ghanaian cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church. He is president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace since his appointment by Pope Benedict XVI on 24 October 2009. Cardinal Turkson is one of the primary architects of the Laudato Si’ and has served as the public face of Pope Francis’ position on human-induced climate change.
