Biofides is an initiative of Vincent Kemme, a Dutch former biology teacher living in Belgium. During his biology studies in Utrecht (1977-1-985) he experienced a religious change from ‘parkizing agnostic’ to a Catholic Christian faith life. During his career in the ‘new evangelization’ and Dutch, Flemish and European higher secondary education, he studied theology, philosophy and bioethics in Brussels. In 2009 he decided to devote his life to clarifying the relationship between biology and faith, theoretical-philosophical and practical-ethical, and founded the association Biofides with his wife, Ine Kemme-Hammers, occupational therapist.
